The band's bassist, a friend named Paulo Borges, owned a huge Pearl kit and cage. When he joined the band I had an opportunity most young drummers can only dream about... I got to build my fantasy kit using the best pieces from a pile of drums and hardware that literally could have built three standard drumkits.
